A Botanical House of Cleansing

Sacred Cleaning, Naturally.

Plant-derived cleansers and ancient cleansing rituals for the modern home. Crafted in the same tradition as the world's oldest house-blessing ceremonies — and made to be loved by the people who use them, the rooms that receive them, and the waterways that carry them away.

I Philosophy

We believe the act of cleaning a room is one of the oldest sacred gestures a person can perform — and that the products you choose to perform it with should be worthy of the gesture.

Long before cleaning was a chore, it was a ceremony. A way of marking time. A way of honoring a season. A way of clearing what had grown stale and welcoming what was about to arrive. Every great culture in human history has its own version of this ritual — and at the heart of all of them is the same quiet idea: a home cleaned with care becomes kinder.

Supernatural Cleaners exists to honor that idea. Every formula in the line is built from plant essences, gentle enzymes, and natural fragrances drawn from the same forests, fields, and orchards that have inspired devotional cleaning for thousands of years.

We do not use parabens. We do not use synthetic fragrance. We do not use the harsh, sharp surfactants that leave the air stinging and the waterways downstream a little less alive. What we use is the work of bees, the oil of pressed seeds, the steam of crushed leaves, and a tradition older than every brand on every supermarket shelf put together.

The best time to clean is when you are unhurried and in the zone. The best way to clean is with kindness. The best products to clean with are the ones that leave the room — and the person doing the cleaning — better than they were found.

"Cleanliness is not next to godliness. It is the path to it."

III Rituals

A Field Guide to the World's Oldest Cleaning Ceremonies

Four traditions, on four continents, each performed for thousands of years. The brand is built in their honor.

North · China

The Spring Festival

Before the Lunar New Year, families across China sweep every corner of the home to drive out the dust of the old year. The word for "dust" is a homophone for "old" — so the act of cleaning becomes the act of letting go. Bamboo leaves, long believed to ward off evil spirits, are still used in the most traditional households.

East · Iran

Khaneh Tekani

Translated as "shaking the house," the Nowruz cleaning ritual is one of the most thorough on earth. Carpets are beaten, walls repainted, windows washed, silver polished. Hyacinth and tuberose perfume the rooms, and wild rue is burned to honor the ancestors and welcome them home for the new year.

West · Christendom

Holy Week

The first cleaning of spring is woven into the days before Easter. Carpets are aired, beds turned, curtains washed, and the home is dressed in fresh flowers — a visible sign of resurrection and renewal. The outward labor mirrors the inward one: the soul, like the house, made ready for what is rising.

South · Israel

Pesach Cleaning

In the days before Passover, every trace of leavened bread is searched out and removed from the home — a ritual called bedikat chametz. The rabbis describe it as a spring cleaning of the soul. As the windows are washed clear to let in the light, so too is the heart purged of what has grown stale.
